In today's episode, I'm going to share with you how to become one of the most highly-respected and highly-paid coaches and consultants in your particular space, if you do five things all the most highly-paid and highly-respected coaches and consultants do in a particular space. This ain't just about being the highest paid, but also the highest respected, because it's one thing to get my money, but it's a whole other thing to not be respected because that's a whole other episode for yourself, right?
But there are five things. I'm going to jump right into them. I’ve got my notes right here. I don't want to leave everything out. I want to make sure I give you all the sauce.
Number one is to be authentic with your own point of view. I'm telling you, if you want to get into the rooms, you want to get asked to be in those rooms, right, you want to ask to be on those stages to speak in those events, to be on those podcasts, all that, the first thing you’ve got to do is be authentic and have your authentic PO, your point of view of how you do things and be okay with doing things completely different than other people doing. Okay, so that's number one. [01:52.2]
Number two is micro-niche. Really micro-niche down to who you serve. A lot of people say, I help entrepreneurs do XYZ. How can you niche that down even further? You may say you make in micro-niche, I help e-commerce businesses do XYZ, but you may say, I help e-commerce businesses on Shopify. That’s going to to niche it down even more. Or I help black e-commerce businesses. That's going to niche it down even further. Or you may say I help people lose weight so they can increase their energy, etc., etc., etc. You may niche down and say, I help business professionals, or you can niche down and say, I help black business professionals. I help women business professionals. I help women coaches do Excel, micro-niche.
How can you micro-niche? When you micro-niche, you can charge a hundred times more and you become even more sought after because you're really niched down. That's number two.
Number three. I think I numbered them. Let me just make sure. Number three is to have a very clear message that you're going to convey in three seconds. If somebody says, What do you do? Can you say I help _______ do _______? I help _______ do _______, right?
For us, I know we help coaches and consultants attract clients from autopilot, so they can get off the revenue roller coaster and create true freedom. Very clear, very simple. Of course, we’ve got that from my market because that's what they want, right? So, what is yours, in three seconds? People go to your website and read your thing, and immediately, what is that? It's also going to help you as you build your team and so forth, because everybody can get alignment with that. [03:08.5]
Number four is publishing quality content consistently. This can be in the form of a podcast like you're listening to right now. This can be videos. This can be blog posts. Whatever your thing is, but creating consistent content that your ideal clients can consume because it's going to help predispose, pre-indoctrinate them to actually want to do business with you.
Then, number five, you want to have an elegant solution, an offer that’s productized that you can serve one-to-many instead of one-to-one? I'm not talking about a course. Now, it can be a course if you want, but what's something that you can charge premium prices for and you can help people get a premium transformation and they happily pay you $3,000 or $10,000 or more?
We’ve found it to be high-value, high-impact coaching and consulting programs as our go-to, but whatever the thing is for you, of course, you need to know that, but, of course, we highly recommend high-impact, hands-on transformational coaching programs because you can really serve a lot of people and help a lot of people get a ton of great results. Those are the five things to do that you want to have in place if you want to become a highly-respected and highly-paid coaches and consultants in your particular space.
