You're listening to “The School of Client Attraction.” Marquel Russell is the founder of Client Attraction University, a marketing consultancy helping you attract clients on autopilot and scale your business while working 50% less.

Quick disclaimer: a side effect of listening to the show is more clients, more profits, more freedom, and it's more impact in your business. Now, here's your host, Marquel Russell.

Marquel: Hey, what's up, my friend? Marquel Russell here. Welcome to this brand new episode of the School of Client Attraction, and I'm going to share with you in today's episode one simple strategy that you can apply in your service-based business to create more leverage, more freedom, even more impact, and even more profit—and what is this strategy? It's called productizing your service.

What does that mean? Think about whatever you provide. For example, let’s say, you're a website builder. Your company builds websites for people. [01:00.8]

What's the first step to productizing your service? It’s figuring out, okay, what's the current reality of your ideal client? You probably already know what that is. Then what's the preferred reality of your ideal client?

For example, if you build websites for a living for your full control of your company, let's say, you do it for entrepreneurs, their current reality is no website or a website that's not performing the way they want it to perform. Their preferred reality is a website that performs the way they want it to perform, right? What's your process of getting there?

When you're building out the website, I want you to zoom out for a second and say, when you bring on a new website design client, what is the process you walk through? You probably have a first step. You probably have a second step. You probably have a third step. You probably have a fourth step. You probably have a fifth step. You probably have a six step.

You zoom out and now you can literally turn that into a group high-leverage coaching program and walk them through it, so now people can come through that process and you can teach them how to do it via your group coaching program versus you building out websites, and now you can automatically increase the price of you actually doing it as well. [02:05.7]

I’m going to give you another example. I have a buddy of mine. He has a group, a one-on-one coaching program, and he only works with so many kinds because he can't work with so many one-on-one because he has got a family and got all the stuff he’s doing. I'm like, Bro, let me ask you this. How many clients have you got right now you're working one on one with?

He was like, Five.

I was like, Let me ask you this. No matter the client, you’re helping them get the same result. Typically, in their first call, is this conversation pretty much the same?

He was like, Yeah.

I was like, Do you typically get the same questions from each client?

He was like, Yeah.

I was like, Your second call, does it pretty much go the same?

Yeah.

Do you pretty much get the same questions for the most part?

Yeah.

I'm like, It's the same thing.

Now you take that, you record it. For example, you may record a few modules or whatever. You structure this into a group coaching program and now you show up every week once a week in a group, and now you answer all the questions at the same time.

Now you can actually serve more people and now can actually get the benefits of being around other amazing people who are going in the same direction they're going, and they can also get value from the questions that other people are asking that they maybe didn't even think of asking. [03:08.7]
