(00:43): We'll talk to the sales folks this morning. Here's the fact sales guys have been talking about this within my group lately within my sales team. I want to share something with you guys. The fact is the sales teams in America today are dying because of lack of followup. Here's the thing, guys, followup is killing you guys. Falling off is keeping you from closing deals. Follow up is keeping you guys from making money. Follow up is keeping you from succeeding at the level that you want to succeed at. It's keeping you from creating all the hopes and dreams and reaching the goals that you want to create. And let me explain why it's not just in follow up them to give you some tips and tricks in a second. But the fact that remains you guys get in your head, right? The thing is guys, we're reaching out once or twice.
(01:26): We're sending a tax, we're sending an email, we're giving a call. We're doing whatever. And we think it's enough. People are getting hit 4,500 times a day, 4,500 times a day by different marketing techniques, sales techniques, advertisements, billboards, things that pop up on Facebook, my live videos, right? And guess what? I'm following up a whole lot more than you are guys. You gotta hit them six to 10 times before they're going to do business with you. The reason that is is because they don't remember you. So many salespeople think that you hit, somebody wants to twice and somehow you're memorable. Somehow you're special. Somehow you're different. Somehow your message resonated with the client. The fact of the matter is guys, you're not that memorable. You're not that special. Well, I'm not that special. We're not that special salespeople, right? So we have to hit people multiple, multiple times before people finally say, I remember that evangelist.
(02:25): He cat. I remember his message. I know what he stands for. I know what he's talking about. I know what his value proposition is. I know what it is. He's trying to sell me and I want to do business with him, right? It's the same with all sales folks. The reason we're not closing deals is we're not bringing value because we're not repeating the content enough times for our prospect to know what the heck it is that we sell. And we're not in front of them enough times for them to remember who we are, right? We send them one or two texts or one or two messages. And then all of a sudden we think that they know who we are. And we think that they should call us and do business with us. This is the fact guys, if you have a hundred prospects in front of you, you are between one and five touches away at this very moment.
(03:06): Today you're between one and five touches away from either making that money or being told to go away. Right. And I would rather be told to go away so that I know I can take that person off my list. I'd rather be told to go away then to wonder whether or not I could ever do business with that person. Right. I'd rather be told to go away because I know I can take them off my list and know that the other 99 people on my list are still prospects. Still people that I can make money with. Still people I could serve. Still people I could do business with and continue with in the future folks, how do we become more memorable? How do we make touches? That actually count? I've said this to you before start sending 32nd video texts. It's super uncomfortable. For some reason.
(03:48): I don't quite understand why, but it's so profound for people to get a video text of you in person stating to that person. Exactly what it is your value proposition is. Hey, you know what, Tina, I would love to do business with you. This is what my firm offers. This is what we can help you with. And you know what? This is why we're different and why I'd love to meet with you. Let's get together and grab a coffee. If you sent that video and you sent that 25 second video, how do you think you would stand apart from your competition? How do you think that would make you look different than all the other people that are trying to get teams business at that point in time, it would make you much different. It would make you much more unique and you would get in front of Tina face to face, even though it's video, even though it's over the phone, you'd have a face to face appointment conversation with Tina, where all of your other competition, all they're doing to send an emails, maybe they're sending a text and they're probably leaving some lame ass voicemail, right?
(04:39): That nobody checks by the way. Does anyone check their voicemail nowadays? What do you do with your voicemail? You check it and you delete it, right? Three quarters of people barely even return their voicemails anymore. Right? Send a 32nd text video. I know it sounds uncomfortable. I know it sounds difficult, but guess what? Life begins at the edge of your comfort zone. Folks, you will start to find things happen when you start to become uncomfortable things, your goals, the greatness within you starts to become realized. When you start to get uncomfortable guys, one to five touches, you're one to five touches away. Most of the time, your one to five touches away from finding out if they don't want to do business with you at all. And they tell you to go away, which by the way is great because it gets them off your list or they decide they want to meet with you.
(05:22): They want to find out what your proposition is. They want to decide to do business with you guys. We're one to five touches away, right? What else can we do? We can send a text and we can follow up with an email. We can send the video text followup with an email and a voicemail drop, right? By the way guys, there's what's called ringless voicemail. Nowadays, if you haven't heard a slide, dial some more technology, send them a voicemail without giving them a call. How many people even answer their phone anymore? Why not drop a voicemail and then send a text and say, Hey, I just left you a voicemail, right? Send them multiple messages at the same time, by the way, people we don't check our texts and our voicemails and our emails all at the same time. Right? So if you do it all at once and boom, you hit them three ways.
(05:59): Now they start to check you off multiple times. During the day they get to the voicemail. At the end of the day, they check their email. The next morning they check their texts. People always check their texts. By the way, we don't ignore texts. We don't delete texts. Generally. They're in front of us. So being able to hit somebody in three different fashions in one time and do that multiple times during the day or during the week now you've hit somebody five times, possibly within two days. That's the one to five that I'm talking about. Take your top 20 lists, top 30, 40 people that you want to do business with and hit them five times in the next two days. I absolutely guarantee you today is Tuesday. If you do this with the top 40 people on your list, I absolutely guarantee you, you see an increase in revenue by the time Friday rolls along. I don't know what your business is. I don't know what your closings look like, but your pipeline will be full with business by Friday.
