(00:34): Hey there, gang. Welcome to find your fears happy new year. So glad that you're here with me to kick off 2022. It's a, a brand new day. It's a brand new month and it's a brand new year and it's a brand new series. And I felt like I should call it the warrior with it being a fresh start. I know last week we talked about, you know, taking out all the trash, the junk, all the things that we were hoarding in our spiritual life. And it's like, we have this clean slate. It's hope is full of opportunity. It's full of choices. And this series, we're gonna dive into the fact that we can do and face hard things. We can learn to fight and battle in a new way that we can not only reach our potential, but to go beyond it. And we're gonna talk a little bit about how we can step boldly with confidence into what God is calling us to do and who he is calling us to become.
(01:24): I absolutely love it. I'm fired up. I can't wait. It's gonna be so, so good. But before we go any further today, I have to say that I love that you are here listening in and spending time with us. So honored that I get to be a part of your day and you guys are just so amazing. And I have to thank you for all your love and support as always. I appreciate your feedback and your, your review. And I just love that you share this podcast and the set free message with all your friends and family. And if you could keep on doing that, that would be pretty amazing because you are helping this movement as it helps reach more women and it impacts more lives. And that is certainly what life is all about. So just thank you so much. And for those of you who are wanting a little bit more, a little bit more personal attention and coaching, more accountability, more breakthrough and connection, and to kind of dive into things on a deeper level, all the stuff that we talk about here on fine, your fierce, but is gonna be so much more.
(02:15): And it's called the just breathe sisterhood. It's opening up another small group mentor ship here in the next few weeks. It is truly game changing. So be sure to check that out on my website, it's Jill Allen coaching.com and you can get started with us there. Now. I don't know about you, but I wanna step into 2022 with confidence. As a matter of fact, I would love to actually step in every single day with confidence. And if there's ever been a clean and a fresh start to life, here it is, it is today. It's again at the beginning of a brand new year. And I truly believe with my whole heart is that you can step into 2022 with confidence. And no matter what these last few years have brought you or what you have faced in the past, we are stepping in with confidence.
(03:05): And so let's, let's kind of talk, let's break down confidence. Let's likes talk about it. Let's be real. It's, it's an area in our life. Many women struggle with and I feel it can be actually a, a determining factor or between success and failure there. Now here's the thing. There's a difference between confidence and self righteousness. I always go back and forth on this. This is not arrogance. True confidence comes with a few things, actually four one, knowing who you are, two, knowing who you are, three, knowing there's a good plan, four, knowing you've got what it takes to fulfill that plan. Okay. So we're gonna dive into these here for a moment. It's gonna be time it's it's time to break it down. Okay. So who are you? Let's get the facts straight from the get go. Guys. Maybe some of you have not heard this spoken over you for a while, or if ever here's the thing.
(04:04): You are a miracle, a true walking miracle. There's no other way to put it. And I know we often forget that. So today I, I wanna remind you of how amazing you are. I remember actually you know, the days all five that our five kids were born, right? And I remember holding them, thinking what a miraculous day that was or thinking what these little miracles you know, that I, that I was holding. I mean, it's just, just the fact that they're sheer existence. I mean, having them in my belly growing one moment and then miraculously born into this world. But here's the thing. We forget that we were once a baby think about this. That is exactly how we were born too. It took our exact mother, our exact father to create us. No other two humans could have formed you and me.
(04:55): Everything about you is absolutely miraculous. The, a fact that you were not a mistake that you are here by great design. Every detail of you has been meticulously, chosen and crafted to gather, to create life. As only you can live it, your hair color, your eyes, your heart, your smile, your mind, all the gifts and unique talents that you have been given. It's all by design. Are you able to grab a hold of this concept, that you are a woman with purpose, a woman specially designed for this very space and time that you are meant to be here in this exact moment of 2022 ladies, I want you to walk in confidence knowing you are exactly who you're supposed to be. So now we're moving on to two. Now that you know who you are, that you are a walking miracle, whose are you ladies?
(05:49): You are a daughter of the king of all Kings that we are his children. We are a child of God loved no matter what loved for who we are and the fact that he knows our names and that he is calling them right now today, I can see it. Now he's telling us to straighten our crown, that, that he created and owns everything. He's the same God that created you and me, the God that directs and guides it all the creator in charge. And to think that he is watching over us, that he is with us, always, that he is working in and through us in Jeremiah one five. It states that before I formed you in the womb, I knew you before you were born, I set you apart. He carefully watched every detail as you were in your mother's womb. He is a father that loves us, that looks at us with compassion and forgiveness and the grace and the love.
(06:46): And he kind of proved that by sacrificing his son to save us right, to think that he doesn't ever condemn us or shame us, or gives us that guilt trip. He is our father and we are his daughters. And I think about all the labels. I remember, I think back to like when I was five, my grandma always tells me this, that I wanted the Jordash jeans, right? The one, the little horse that was back, I'm dating myself now. But there, there was that little horse on the pocket. I wanted the horse on the pocket and I knew even back then that there's labels, there's tags, there's branding in all of that. And that things were maybe a little bit more expensive or had more value than other things. Okay. That's just what the world has taught us. And I think about all these labels, I think about all the roles and the identifi and tags that we or the world kind of put that stamp on.
(07:44): We know that food from giant Eagle will cost more than Audi, right? That if a, you know, maybe a car from Lexus is gonna cost more than a Kia or a Louis Viton purse is gonna cost more than a person from target pottery barn is gonna cost more than a big Sandy, right? And it, because it's all in the designer, the creator, and all we have to do is look at the maker who is the designer? What label is on that piece of clothing, or who made these shoes or jeans, or what tag is on that piece of furniture? Tell me the name, and I'm gonna tell you the value. We all can do that. And since we're looking at labels and we're looking at brand names, I want us to flip the script here. And I wanna add to it, our label as a human being, as a daughter of the Lord, our label is above all labels.
(08:33): We have God's fingerprints in our life. We have been created in his image. Our value is beyond measure because of our creator and our maker. He is the maker. He's our father. He's our God, he's our daddy, our sweet pop, right? He's that good father? That good, good father, which makes us his beloved daughter and his chosen one. Let's just sit with that for a moment to sit with that truth. Talk about confidence. We should have so much confidence. We should find great confidence in just knowing that we belong to the almighty. It's pretty cool. It's pretty. It's just, it's really. So what's the plan here we are. We are a miracle. We are the daughter of the one true king. So what's next. What's the game plan. Let me tell you, there is a really, really good plan over your life. And I get it.
(09:30): We can look back and we probably can emit that. We like to screw things up a few times, right? That we like to take control. We maybe slow things down. We get in the way. Maybe we even, you know, try to take control and direct and guide our next steps all on our own. Maybe we're even still doing that, but ultimately we're putting a halt to our own goodness, right? Wrong. No matter how many times we have lived as if it was our will and not his as, and if we could try to control things, no matter how many times that we white knuckle the steering wheel, and we try to create our own plan and pathway, we are not nearly powerful enough to cancel out God good plan. Absolutely amazing. There is absolutely nothing he can't work with and through there's nothing he can't use for good.
(10:27): And I know in Roman's 8 28, that all things are used for. Good. And for those who love him and are called according to his purpose, understand and grab ahold of this, that that really truly means all things. This week. I followed a story on Facebook of a little boy who saved his very own brother with a transplant. His brother was on his deathbed, fighting for his life. A prayer were just going everywhere. I mean, there were so many prayers being lifted up. It's just so loved. And I also witnessed just this week, a family heal and forgive from the ultimate betrayal. Right? And I think about those in those moments. I witnessed God once again, using all things for good, the mistakes, the pain, the hurt, the battles, you know, it becomes a testimony through the darkness because that's God, that's our God.
(11:28): And it is his good plan. So I gotta ask you, what is your thing? Your hurt, your pain, your shame, your mistakes, your struggle. Will you surrender it to God's good plan of now using it all for good. Are we willing to flip the script? Remember your thing was included in the cover of all things in Romans that can now be used for good in the hands of God. This can all be flipped. This script of yours can be turned around for his good and for his glory, for a testimony to give hope to others. Truly amazing. So I want you to be confident, be so confident about God's plan that you don't even get upset anymore. When things don't go your way and truth be told that is something I'm still working on myself. His will not mine, right? God invites us into creation to plan with him, to lock arms with him.
(12:22): We are creators as well. He places deep within us, these core desires and visions and passions that serve as a guide to our purpose. So if you have a passion for fitness, like I do, it's because your creator gave you that passion to put you on a path of goodness. If you have a love of nature and exploring or hiking, it's because your creator planted that desire within you to bring you deeper into his good plan. It's all by design ladies, God thought of everything and left apps, nothing out he's been behind the scenes in every stage of her life. He's always been there crafting and reworking and designing and aligning all these things to bring us into the goodness he has planned for us, but we need to trust his plan. I love that we can play within his plan and put our special touch on it.
(13:10): Put our spin on it. Put our, you be able to use our unique gifts and, and all that he's given us because we were gifted by the creator to create too, which is pretty epic and things won't always turn out the way that we planned. We may not always see the plan or understand the plan, but this is where our faith comes in. Faith is about being okay, no matter what faith is about, trusting God, our plans fail or fall short. His plan is bigger than our plans. And lastly, what do you have? Well, you have exactly what it takes. The fact that you are equipped with what you will need allows all of us, the ability to step into this new month and this new year of life fully prepared. He's gonna equip the us with exactly what we need. Guys. We need to remember that within us is every single thing we need to fulfill our purpose and to rock this year of life out, we lack nothing.
(14:06): We were designed with a purpose and we have been equipped with a plan, his plan. We just need to wake up and actually listen to what that plan will unfold. Two, what we have right now is exactly what it, it will take and anything we feel we don't have. God is actually going to provide. He's going to develop. He's going to prepare us. He will step in, fill in the gaps and he will equip us along the way. Ladies, I don't know about you, but it is time to rise up from these ashes with confidence. We are still here, we're still breathing and right where we need to be. And that is exactly where God wants to meet us and wants to do his finest work. I love this scripture, verse one, six of Philippians, being confident of this, that he, who began a good work in.
(14:55): You will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ. Jesus, guys, we need to own that. God began a good work in us and we are still a work in progress. The fact that he's not done with us yet, that's exciting. I can imagine where he's leading us, us and, and how he's preparing us and how he's equipping us. I am confident that he is still working in us, on us and through us. So are you confident in who he created you to be guys? We were designed with purpose and our journey is simply about becoming more and more like the women we have always been created to be, he is trans us as I speak. Are you confident in who you belong to guys? He's a good, good father. And his eyes are always on us. He's watching us. He has called us his own that fact that he will never leave us nor forsake us.
(15:44): We are his, and he is ours. I love that. That alone gives me the confidence we need. How about you? And are you it in his plan? We don't have to understand it to trust it. We don't have to see it to follow it. Our good father has a good plan for us daughters. And are you confident that you have what it takes to fulfill that plan that he's gonna fill in the gaps that he's going to meet us? The fact that you are fully equipped and made capable through Christ. All things are possible. Now how exciting this spring, new year, this new month, the new opportunities, his power is flowing through each and every one of us and our life is limitless. When we are walking fully in the confidence and the potential that he's given us. I pray that you understand that God surely started something good in you.
(16:35): So let's confidently step into this new year. Let's flip the script. Let's, let's grab a hold of this fresh new start and this clean slate and know God's good plan is at work for you.
