I get a kick out of it when someone asks me if I can get them to the top of iTunes.
Why? Because my Podcast Launch Formula got 11 of my first 11 shows into the top ten charts of iTunes.
And you know what, it had less to do with me and more to do with my hosts.
Here's what they all had in common:
1. They already had an audience and wanted to grow it.
2. They already had an eMail list and were in regular contact with them.
3. They followed my Podcast Launch Formula to the letter and got awesome results.
But alas, things have changed since then.
iTunes has updated their algo-thingy and most of the charts are frozen.
So getting to the top of the charts isn't as important as it once was.
What matters now is getting your message in front of the right people.
With that in mind I've been working on a new innovation to our Podcast Launch Formula.
It used to be that we focused on your email list for launch.
And that works great.
But what if you don't have a big list?
What if you want to grow your audience?
What if you want to make a bigger impact when you launch?
What do you do?
I've been working on this for a while.
And I think we're on to something.
It's a new way to use video for your pre-launch.
My initial testing says this is going to be a big audience driver.
But it's too soon to tell.
All I can say is it looks like it's working.
