"Jonathan, I'm a new paid subscriber. I'm puzzled by the repeated link to this You Tube video. Shouldn't your funnel pull me through a series of educational videos and (limited) content and upsell me rather than tell me that you exist?"
Great question lad.
Here's the deal:
I'm lazy and I ain't smart enough to build one of them complicated funnels the GuRoobs are touting out there in Internet Land.
More on that in a second.
But first, here's my entire system in a nutshell.
When you sign up on my website to get my "iTunes Hack" you're put on a welcome sequence of 5 emails that indoctrinate you to my wicked ways.
Inside those emails I tell you about some common problems podcasters run into and I offer you my Podcasting 101 training ($47)
After those five emails you're moved to my daily list where I deliver a tip, story, and offer 7 days per week.
This are not pre-written emails. They're fresh and usually promote my Podcast Mogul Newsletter ($34.18 per month)
That's all I have in the way of products and funnels.
Once you're on my daily list you'll hear from me each and every single day – the stories I share in these daily notes are how you get to know me better.
And once you subscribe to my Podcast Mogul newsletter I do not take you off the daily list.
Why? Because when I'm promoting the upcoming issue to everyone else I'm also teasing you about what's coming up in the next issue.
So I'm killing two birds with one email.
It's that simple.
Speaking of simple, inside the next Podcast Mogul newsletter I'm going to break bad on them GuRoobs who are telling you to create complicated funnels, or to use quizzes and advanced segmenting, or long video sales letters to sell your stuff.
There's a reason they're telling you to do all this stuff and the fact is, it ain't good for you – especially is you're into simply making sales like I am.
