Do you hate the thought of working past 55 or 60? Do you hate not being able to live the life you deserve today? Do you hate not knowing what your financial future looks like? It's time to stop doing what you hate, here's your host, Mr. Harold Green.

(00:19): A little. Hi everybody. This is Harold Green, a K a G money green. How's everybody doing today? Doing awesome. I just thought I'd throw that out there. Introduce my nickname to you guys. It started off when I was in high school, my cousin Antonio just yelled out one

(00:38): Day, yo G and my last name is green. So, you know, he just figured green G some sounding. Cool. So pretty much got everybody just started calling me G and then I always had a job, you know, when I was in high school, when I was a kid, I used to, because I hated being broke. I did not like not having money or I didn't like, you know, being broke in other words. And so I always had a job. I always had some money in my pocket. And then it turned from just G to G money. Cause I always had some money. And then, because we were cousins, he went on from G to G money to G money because cause we're cousins. So that was my nickname in high school. And it was pretty cool. And I kept that nickname with me all the way through high school to the military, to, you know, my different duty stations.

(01:30): So everywhere I go, people would know me as green G and a. So that was, that was pretty cool. I want to get into something kind of interesting with you guys today and it's something that's being talked about a lot in our society right now and it's everybody's mental state. Recently. I joined a program at the request of my doctor. He said, you know, since your healthcare covers these types of programs for people that are getting themselves in shape and you know, losing weight and monitoring their health and you know, the health insurance pays for it. So you might as well join it. So I joined it in so pretty good program. You get to check in with a host of variety of different types of specialist doctors. And you know, the last one I talked to was a mental health specialist, counselor, whatnot.

(02:17): And you know, she said, you know, you probably don't need to talk to me cause it sounds like you've got everything under control. So, but you know, we need to have this conversation. We need to have this conversation anyway. And at the end of the conversation said, you know, this is a very big issue because more and more people that we talk to are in predicaments that they're in because of their mental capacity and their mental state and the things that are happening in society. So I am going to start off by letting you guys know I am not a licensed psychiatrist or a therapist or a counselor or anything like that. Funny thing is, is a lot of people come in and talk to me about stuff like that along with their money. So, you know, I don't want to just be one of those advisers that manages your money.

(02:57): It takes your money and not look the holistic overall picture because a lot of times it is that mental situation that will destroy a financial plan every single time. So are you guys ready? You guys ready for this 1, 2, 3 less. Get it. I want to talk to you guys about urgency and there's different types of currency. There's emotional currency, there's physical currency. There's of course monetary currency, there's family and friends urgency. And then there are spiritual currency. And the first one I want to start off with is a emotional currency. This is a big one, and these are things that I'm going to encourage you, that if you are having challenges in this area, please do seek out a mental health care specialist. You know, sometimes it can be good just to get things off your chest in a confidential manner where you don't have to worry about, you know, am I being recorded?

(03:58): Is someone going to share this information with anybody else? You know, as things that you can kind of get off your chest because you don't get the stuff off your mind is just going to start eating at you and eating at you and eating at you. So emotional urgency. And I'm going to ask you a question. If you're sitting down right now, that's great. Take out a pen and pad. If you're driving, that's fine. Start to take mental notes. And I'm going to ask you this question first. How, how do you feel like right now? How do you feel like right now I'm cool. A little a little nervous, you know, got a little nerves going. I was on the way to work this morning and people are like, we're driving stupid. And there's one car in front of me was like driving really stupid.

(04:42): And I was like, okay, why are they driving stupid, like speeding up, slowing down and you know, so I try to get around them. And so, you know, I kind of gunned it a little bit and got around them. And then I got in front of them. And then I, like, I looked back in my rear view and there was a cop like right behind this guy. So all of these cars kind of block this cop in, so he couldn't go anywhere. So I guess he was getting frustrated and then all of a sudden he like guns it. And he comes like right behind me. And you know, on my car, I have this rear wing spoiler. And what happens is you can, you can manually raise the spoiler. And then normally the spoiler only comes up when you're going over 60 miles an hour.

(05:16): So I guess somehow the cop thought that I was going over 60 miles an hour when it wasn't. But so he just kinda tailed me all the way to the freeway. And so once I got to like the freeway, cause I'm on like a regular, you know, street, and then I get to the freeway, I just gun it and get to like the top, you know, the speed. And then the, once you actually hit 60, there's a different level of a spoiler goes to, and then it went to that different level and then, you know, I'm on the freeway and he's like, tailgate me. And I'm like, okay, am I going to have to like pull the black lives matter, sign out my window or something. And so you know, there's an exit that you get off the freeway. And he, he like tells me all the way, like in the left lane.

(05:52): And so we got to that exit and then he just dove across like four lanes and get off the freeway. And I'm like, okay, that was kind of crazy. It's Saturday morning, like six 30, like why y'all gotta be acting crazy like that. So, you know, that got me a little frustrated. So I actually just got off the, got off the freeway on so regular street so that I could just like calm myself down and just drive to work on a different route, just so I could like calm myself down. So, but overall I'm feeling pretty good. I'm also a little Jack because I figured out the setup of my iron's and my drivers, you know, when I went to the driving range and the reason why I'm saying that is because the emotional currency I got that was deposited into my, my emotion bank w was phenomenal because it gave me confidence right now when I go to the range or when I get on the course, I got this thing figured out.

(06:43): So how do you feel right now? And then what are you doing to add to your emotional currency? Because Hey, you spend emotional currency every single day on all kinds of stuff, right? I did a show title garbage in, garbage out. You, you know, you can get frustrated by the dumb stuff that people do around you and then spend emotional currency, like dealing with that over and over, rolling it over, over in your mind, that's a form of meditation. So please be aware that when you start to roll something over in your mind over and over again, you keep thinking about it. You are burning emotional currency, and that's how people face burnout. They've spent all their currency, they got like nothing left. And then that leads to all different forms of depression. So, so what are you read a positing into your emotional urgency bank?

(07:36): Think about that. All right. Now, the next thing I want to talk about is physical currency, which is good, good health. And I had suffered some, some health challenges recently, not too long ago because I was burning myself out. I was spending my physical health to get material wealth. I was spending my physical health to get material wealth. And I was telling the lady, I was talking to the mental specialist, the health therapist, whatnot. I'm I'm, you know, I'm on the comeback, right? I'm losing weight feeling great. That's a affirmation that I say to myself, I'm losing weight and I'm feeling great. And I'm on the come back. I've lost weight. I'm doing good. And I said, but you know, what got me here was I was spending my physical health to get material wealth. And that's another thing you're going to have to think about what are you doing to add great health to your physical currency?

(08:32): Because you're going to need that in order to make money. You're going to need that in order to be successful, right? Are you eating right? All of these things taken together will allow you to increase and go further and further and further and further. And that's very, very important. Plus, you know, when you, when you get older, you want to be able to enjoy the wealth that you've made. You want to be able to enjoy your grandkids. You want to be able to enjoy traveling and to all these different places versus sitting there with like 30, 40, $50 million. And now you all jacked up, right? You know, heart problem, all of these different problems you have because you've spent your physical currency trying to gain monetary urgency. And I'm probably talking about this stuff before, but again, we're talking about a holistic approach to your financial planning because it's not just me managing the money and coming up with the ideas and working with you.

(09:21): It's it's you having to do your part too. So, and a lot of times clients are like, oh, Harold, you know, hiring a trainer costs too much. Oh, Harold, you know, this cost too much. Or you know, this costs too much, or that cost too much. And I was like, no, it's not a cost. It's an investment. And sometimes I'm thinking is, well, if I spend it today, I won't have it tomorrow. If I spend it today, I won't have it tomorrow. That goes back to another show. I did title running out of money. There's always more where that came from it. If you get your system built the right way and the rapid retire program, we talk about Ash reserve systems, income generation, cashflow management. Like if you have all three of these clicking on all cylinders, then it's okay to invest in yourself.

(09:58): It is okay. You treat yourself. It goes back to letting money serve you and you not serving money. You can't serve two masters at the same time. I've talked about that in a previous show, but the next one is monitoring money, money, a K a cheese, whatever you want to call it, cheddar cabbage bacon. Or I don't, I don't care money. And sometimes people will say, well, you know, I don't, I don't have a lot of it. Well, it goes back to the story of David and Goliath with the sling, right? I mean, David David had a Slingshot. He became so good at that Slingshot that he could take down bears and he could take down anything with that. So, you know, never discount. The small thing that you have in your hand, you may not have a lot of money, but you got to sit down and you got to start an accountability plan because here's the thing about money.

(10:48): Money is like, it's like, it's like a pet, you know, in terms of an emotional situation. And if you abuse your pet, you know, they, they don't, we'll come to you after a while you hit your dog, yelling at your dog, you know, they see your emotions. They see you taking that stuff out on them. You know, they try to love you and, and animals are very forgiving, but after a while you, you break something and then, and if you keep abusing money or mishandling money, it's the same. It is not going to find itself to you. It's going to run away from you because you don't have the capacity to handle it. I heard something the other day that just really impressed me. And it said the level of lifestyle that you're on right now, where you are right now is because of your capacity for that.

(11:32): That's because that's all you can handle, right? Once you begin to improve an enlarger capacity, which we talked about that a little bit before, expanding your mind, can you see it possibilities, right? Vision mapping, to begin to do that with money more and more money will find itself into your hands we're stewards of money. We're we're to be good stewards of all the material, wealth and blessings that are bestowed upon us, right. Are here to be, but stores. And if you mismanage it, guess what it's gone, right? There's a scripture in the Bible that talks about he who has more will be given and then to, and who does not have even that, which he has, will be taken away. That's some powerful stuff, right? But never discount, a little money that you do have. You can start with you are. And if you have a lot, somebody that's great, you know, I'm glad you're listening to me on the show and hopefully you are a client already.

(12:28): And you know, that's, that's even better, but if you're not get in contact with me and we can talk about that later, here's the next type of currency, family and friends, currency, you know, family and friends are either adding to your emotional currency, other spending your emotional currency, family and friends instance, either adding to your emotional currency or their spending your emotional currency, like, you know, family comes over and it's exciting, right. You know, everybody's having a good time. You love it on your family and logging on everybody. I mean, that just kind of gets me excited when I was home, you know, visiting with my family. You know, I, I told my sister, I think it was yesterday that you know, the favorite part of the trip was, you know, hanging out with my nieces and nephews. And I got a lot of them, you know, and it, it was exciting just to kind of be around them and, you know, cause kids they're excitable and they do all kinds of silly stuff and you get to have fun with them and you get to tap back into your childhood and, you know, relive some of that a little bit through the younger kids.

(13:30): And that was a lot of fun. And that added to my emotional currency at the same time. When you have you, you spend time with friends, it's the same thing they're adding to your emotional currency or they're, or they're spending it, right. You've got these negative friends and all they do is gossip about other people. You guys know what I'm talking about. I don't need to get into that too much. These people are spending your emotional and see drama, right. Hanging around people that always got drama going on, that spending emotional currency. And you want like, why do I feel so down? Like, and I talked about this before, so you gotta be careful with that. Make sure you are also adding to your family's emotional currency. Make sure you're not taking drama, you know, and causing problems either. Because then this stuff spills over into different areas.

(14:11): And next thing you know, what's going to affect your money because I'm going to put something out there to you right now, write mine right. Money. Okay. I'm going to say that again. Right? Mine. Right. Money. Wrong mind equals wrong money. So we've got to get this mind. Right. All right. So that's what I'm going to talk to you about. It's very near and dear to me and the spiritual currency. And you guys all know by now, if you've listened to my shows enough, you'll know my spiritual leanings, you know how I feel? You know what I believe, right? I've talked about my belief system, AKA also known as your operating, right? Because you, you have to understand like, what's, how are you programming your mind? What's being put in your not only what it's being programmed into your mind, who's programming it. NCU. You can have a positive operating system or you can have like negative stuff garbage in, garbage out and your operating system.

(15:13): What is your spiritual condition? And everybody says, I have some people will say, Adam, I don't believe in that spiritual stuff is not about whether you believe in it or not. It's not even about that. It's it exists. It exist, right? We are made up of three parts, mine, spirit, our soul, spirit, and body. Your soul is your mind, your will and your emotions. And then you have your spirit and then you have your physical body. You can put things into your physical body. Okay. You can put things into your soul, which is your mind. I talked about what are you feeding your mind? And I also talked about your spirit. Like, what are you beating yourself spiritually? What are you, what are you believing in? Right. Do you believe that you can accomplish great things? Or do you believe that somehow you were just born into this world and then you're going to die and then that's it like, what is your spiritual system?

(16:11): If you don't have one, I encourage you to seek out a good one, right? I'm not going to tell you what to believe now, if you asked me, right. Paul, me personally, and say how you know, what do you think I'll tell you and I'll tell you why. Right? But I'm not going to force anything on anybody because I never forces himself on anyone. Man has freedom of choice. God says, I wish that you would choose life. I set before you life and death. And I'm going to suggest to you choose life, right? What are you program

(16:44): Into your, your mind? And then you're a spiritual currency rose that way. Okay? Because you're going to need this stuff. And I'm going to tell you, when you feed yourself the right thing, spiritually, you'll begin to

(16:57): Go to a different level of life. And it's not necessarily just for you, but it's for other people too. So all of these things tie into urgency, emotional currency. How do you feel right now? Right? How do you feel every day? Do you have any great things going on that are feeding your emotional currency bank, your physical currency? Are you eating well? Are you sleeping? Well, monetary currency, right? Are you handling your money? The right way? Family and friends, currency, spiritual currency. So these are all the things I want you to think about. Not just, Hey Harold, let's build a great financial plan, but any of these areas in ruin your financial plan. So that's something I wanted to put out to you guys today. And I want to thank you for letting me rant and rave at you a little bit. And thank you for letting me introduce my nickname to your a K a G money curse. Just having a little fun with that.
