I was reading an article in Money Magazine called, “The unexpected payoff of failure.”
It talked about three big benefits to failing:
1. You'll learn more from your failures than your successes.
2. It could make you happier when you succeed.
3. It can make you marketable when you've failed and rallied back.
Sure, failure is a good teacher.
But you know what's even better? Having a mentor show you the way. Why? Because then you can skip out on some failures all together while keeping focused on what you want to achieve.
For instance, if you want to have a top rated show on iTunes so you'll raise your status, attract better guests, and be a thought leader in your industry you could go it alone. You could try to figure it all out fail and try again.
Or you could learn from someone who has done it before (over and over again.)
