The movie “Whiplash” isn’t about what you probably think it’s about.
Yeah, it’s about a jazz drummer and his highly abusive teacher.
But that’s not the REAL theme.
What that film is ACTUALLY about is so darn important, I did an entire podcast about it.
I can only DREAM about where I’d be today if someone would’ve shown me this movie… and explained its theme back when I was 17 or 18.
But nooooooo… I had to figure this stuff out the hard way.
YOU don’t.
