Someone reached out to me saying, “Hi Jonathan, we help REALTORs market their growing practice through…”
I was confused.
Didn’t understand why she thought I was a REALTOR.
In fact, it has been over a decade since I was a REALTOR.
She reached out on LinkedIn so I said to her, “I haven’t been a REALTOR for many years. Is there something on my profile that made you think I’m still active?”
Her answer surprised and pleased me.
She wasn’t reaching out becuase she thought I was a REALTOR.
She was reaching out becuase she thought I was still training REALTORs how to market themselves online.
Turns out someone heard my old Making Agents Rich Podcast and gave her my name.
The last episode aired nearly three years ago.
Yet those shows are still out there on the interwebs – training people, informing them, and motivating them to seek me out.
And that’s what I love about legacy content.
It makes an impact.
It outlives you.
It sticks around even after you’re long gone.
