Got an interesting eMail from a subscriber this morning.
Here's what he said:
“Appreciate you getting out there and producing content.
I saw the word “guroob” in your book and again in this email. To my understanding in English there's no such word. I think you mean guru. I mention it because it made me stumble. I had no idea what you were talking about. I wondered if it was some industry term I'd never heard of…so I searched for the word and couldn't find it…but in the context guru makes sense.
Trying to be helpful.”
The word Guroob belongs to yours truly.
It's a combination of Guru + Rube = GuRoob
I made it up so I can poke fun at the so called Guru's out there who are pretending to be more sophisticated than they really are so they can sell you their chachkies.
And that's not the only thing I made up either.
I make up lots of stuff.
When I couldn't find a way to make podcasting work for me following all the Guroob advice out there.
I made up my Direct Response Podcast™ framework.
It goes like this:
1. Know who you're talking to – The Client Cloner™
2. Know what to say – The Content Vault™
3. Know what you want – The Client Matrix™
4. Get your message to a bigger audience – The Audience Amplifier™
5. Make a bigger impact with your content – The Asset Maximizer™
There are way too many details to cover in a single email or even a series of emails.
That's why I put together my book, “Direct Response Podcasting: Turn listeners into raving fans and your best clients”
And for a few more hours you can get your hands on a copy for 1/2 the price of Amazon.
