Today I want to share some of the spooks you'll find in the podcasting game. Steer clear of them and you'll be safe this Halloween.
The Interview Psycho – This demented creature goes around seeking out prey to have on his show. When he lures you on he asks you the same questions he's asked everyone else making you uneasy. Then, before you know it the show is over and he didn't even give you a plug.
Sponsorship Goblin – This fiendish ghoul pretends he wants to sponsor your show, he asks a lot of detailed questions about your audience and your downloads – when you've finally satisfied him with your answers he offers you a scary low price to be a sponsor.
Witches of feedback – This annoying animal goes around leaving bad feedback for shows all over iTunes – even if she hasn't listened to them. Watch out for her, she'll make you very angry with her wicked words.
Time Vampires – This cunning creature will work it's way into your life, but once you invite them in – watch out. They will suck all the time out of your day with stupid questions and requests. They won't stop until they've drained you of every minute of your day.
The Siren Host – Watch out for these creatures, they will get you on their show under the guise of being interviewed. They will ask a question and before you can answer they will talk over you with their opinions. They won't let you get a word in and before you know it you've spent a half hour listening to their bullshit.
Phantom Guroob – This one will bedazzle you with bright lights, smoke, and mirrors. He will hype you up and have you under his spell. Once he gets your credit card he will take everything you've got and vanish into the night never to bee seen or heard from again.
Now that you know what to look out for, grab your stakes, your pitchforks, and your torches so we can go out hunting for these vile creatures.
