Seriously, these books have changed my business (and life) and I know you’re gonna eat them up!
Building a StoryBrand
This book is by Donald E. Miller, I think he has a podcast too! Anyways, Building a StoryBrand is all about making your dream customer, your dream client the center of your brand story. I love this! Plus, connecting with customers will totally up your sales!
He also has great insights on how you can share stories, marketing ideas, different posts, and brand your business to make it about the customer as opposed to about you!
The No BS Guide to Marketing to The Affluent
So, for those of you who are selling high end luxury items, this is the book for you! It’s by Dan Kennedy. He basically says the affluent have endless amounts of money and they want to buy. He also states the reason we aren’t always making those sales is because of fear.
So cool right?? He teaches you how to use specific language to target high end clients and crush your jewelry sales! FYI this book is pretty long and in-depth but definitely worth the time! It might be helpful to break it up into smaller sections.
Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook
You might have heard me speak about this before, but I think this is one of the best books on how to use to social media! It’s by entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk. He dives into not only the tricks and hacks that are working now, but what the platforms are actually used for.
So I see a lot of designers posting things on Facebook that would be better on Instagram and vice versa. Think strategically about how you’re using each platform. In this book, he takes an interesting approach to selling you might not have thought of. Seriously this book will totally up your social media game!
