I remember when I first read Tim Ferriss' Four Hour Work Week.
I became obsessed with the idea of having a global team of assistants who did all my work for me so I could lay up on the beach sipping a Corona while the cash stacked up.
The fact is, there is no such thing as a four hour work week.
It's a lie.
Ol' Timmy did some pay per click testing on different titles for the book and found “Four Hour Workweek” to be a big winner.
Even though the four hour workweek is a fable, it doesn't mean you can't take some lessons from it.
One of the biggest lessons I took was not waiting for retirement.
So many people work their entire lives so they can finally take a break when they're old and worn out.
They might even be too beat up to enjoy themselves if they wait too long.
That's why I fell in love with the idea of not waiting for retirement, but instead taking “mini-retirements” more often.
Now that Cupcake has joined the team here at “TPF” we're able to make the min-retirement dream a reality.
For instance, I'm writing this to you from “The World's Most Famous Beach: Daytona Beach.”
The sun is rising over the ocean and I'm thinking I'd love to live like this all the time.
We're here for a month.
Which is just enough time to sample the lifestyle without fully committing to it and without waiting until we're old to find out if we like it or not.
It's not quite like Tim talks about in his book,
But it does the trick.
So why am I telling you this?
