I’m sitting on my back patio with the grill blazing at 400 degrees.
It’s Daddy’s turn to cook dinner.
Nathans dogs on the grill.
Blue Moon Beer in hand.
And all I can think is, “Seinfeld made me do it.”
Did you ever watch The Seinfeld Show?
Jerry, Kramer, George, and Elaine are practically family to me.
Anyways, Jerry has a new show called, “Comedians in cars..”
On one of the episodes he says he’s still doing stand up three times per month.
When they asked him why, he said he does it to stay sharp.
That’s why he practices his craft daily.
Some days are good,
Some are bad.
But each day makes him better at what he does.
Which brings me to the point of this note.
It’s about nothing.
I knew I needed to practice today so I showed up.
Pounded these keys.
And delivered this to you.
Now I’m going to enjoy dinner with my family.
