Last week I spent two days locked in a room with some very smart business folks.
There were four doctors, three copywriters, and me.
It was an intense couple of days.
One thing that I figured out was that I'm a bigger hermit than I thought.
They all go to conferences, they network, they hit events so they can meet people and expand their network.
During my hot seat they recommended that I get out to more events, talk to more people, and get out there more. That's about the time I noticed extreme discomfort. I was making excuses, back peddling, and coming up with every reason in the book on why I couldn't go to more events.
One of the good things that came from this was the idea of me hosting my own events for my Podcast Factory clients.
As a way to bring them together so they can share ideas and network with one another.
The idea of having my own event was a lot more appealing than going to someone's event. This is definitely on the agenda for me and Cupcake to put together.
See, I'm always looking for ways to help my clients succeed.
Anything I can do to give them an edge in their market makes me happy.
That's one of the reasons I make myself available to my DFY clients via email.
So they can reach out when they have a question and I can help them move in the right direction so they keep their momentum.
Anyways, a couple of months ago I was talking to one of my clients and she asked how she could promote her show. She wanted to get her message in the ears of more qualified listeners.
And I realized I didn't have a documented system for this at The Podcast Factory.
We do a lot of stuff, but it's not necessarily all written down in one place.
Thats when I decided to document our promotion process including how to start your podcast with momentum so you reach a new audience of listeners, how to leverage other leaders in your field to get into more earbuds, and the single most important asset you have to clone your best listeners.
I'm putting all the juicy details inside the next Podcast Mogul newsletter.
That means even if you can't afford my expensive “Done For Your” podcasting service, you can still get some insight into how we leverage our podcast shows to reach more people who would make great listeners and even better customers for the people we work with.
But you should know, the next issue goes to the printer soon. To get your hands on a copy you gotta subscribe today at http://PodcastMogul.com
Talk to you tomorrow,
Producer Jonathan
