(00:32): Hey there gang, welcome to Find Your Fierce. So glad that you're here with me as we dive into a brand new episode. (01:08): You're all just so amazing and I thank you for your love and support. I appreciate your feedback, your reviews, and I love that you share this podcast and the set free message with your friends and family. And so if you could keep on doing that, that would be incredible because you are helping this movement as it helps reach more women and it impacts more lives, and that is certainly what life is all about. So thank you so much again, CEL. Let's dive in. Are you ready? What would happen in your life if you showed up? I mean, really what would be possible if you started showing up every day with all you can do in your own life? The truth is the battle has been won. I mean, you just have to show up. God won't give you the victory sitting on the couch. He won't give you the victory with your little half-hearted efforts.
(01:53): I mean, he's, he's not going to give us the victory with our one day fired up day and then the burnt out us showing up on the next attempts. But if you will show up with your best and just keep showing up, the victory is yours. I always stress this in our fit and fierce sisterhood. Just show up and hit play. Show up even when you don't want to. I wonder how many victories we've walked away from because we weren't willing to be faithful. How many victories have we missed because we became lazy or discouraged? How many victories has God lined up for us and we just never tasted success because we allowed the enemy to defeat our mind first. I mean, we all want that breakthrough where everything changes, but first we have to break through. We must break through our old tendencies of giving up.
(02:37): We must break through our credit excuses and really to be honest, demand better of ourself. I mean, we must break through the layers of who we believe we are to the core of who we truly are. I mean, we're flipping the script here today. I mean this, the year is wrapping up, but new is coming a new day, a new month, a new year. I mean, when will you stop walking away and instead step up? I mean, you're beginning to receive this calling on your life. I just know it. You really are. You're listening to this episode for a reason by design because God wants you to hear him loud and clear. God is calling you to be greater. He has been preparing you for a bigger purpose and this next level of living and it's time to step into it. I mean, you can't stay where you are when God has called you to be greater.
(03:22): You just can't do it. And I know throughout scripture we see how God prepares one person through their life experiences and then they break through to the next level where they show up and begin living as the person they were created to be fulfilling their purpose. I mean, look at David. I mean the little shepherd boy who was too young and too little to be in the army like his brothers, but he was chosen to fight the giant Goliath and he won. I mean, what did David have to do? I mean, he had to show up. I mean the battle had already been won. God had already provided away. I mean they si the way seemed pretty simple. Unimpressive really, I mean just a slingshot in five smooth stones. But that's all it took. David showed up and used what God provided and the victory was his.
(04:04): I mean, how many times do we miss the answer to our very prayers because the answers seem too ordinary, too familiar? I mean, we're looking for the magical, this grand gesture, this big neon sign when God's saying, Hey, here's five rocks. Just go throw 'em. I mean time and time again, we already have what we need to break through whatever is holding us back, but we miss it because we believe big problems require big solutions. If anything with today, I mean just understand this big problems require a big God. And the good news is we've got that. We have 'em. Not only do we have a great big powerful God, but he is on our side. The battle has already been won. God's just been waiting on you and I to show up. Deuteronomy 24 dropping pens here, I'm so fired up. Deuteronomy 24 says, for the Lord, your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you victory.
(05:02): Maybe you feel the scripture doesn't apply to you. Maybe you don't have very many enemies lined up with weapons ready to fight you on this day. Maybe you didn't wake up this morning preparing for battle, but I got maybe you should have. I mean, we're at war every day of our life. There's a battle over our potential and our purpose. Every day obstacles are put in our way to throw us off track from the plan on our life. Today, God is calling us to be greater and that means we can't stay where we are and keep doing what we've been doing. We have to step up. We have to drop the excuses and show up. Today, God wants to give us victory, but the victory will always be outta reach when we aren't even reaching for it. So ladies, let's go reach for it. If we could only see what God has available for us, if we will fight for it.
(05:46): If we could only believe today that God has equipped us with every single thing needed to have our breakthrough, God is with us today and he is offering us a win, a win over all that has been holding us back a win over the negative thoughts, a win over those bad habits, a win over every threat to our future. Won't you show up for the fight? Won't you step into the ring? Won't you step up and declare that you want it? Don't you see that what you have may not be a lot, but what you have is perfect. When partnered with God, David, the little shepherd boy who defeated the giant Goliath with those five stones later becomes King David living in a palace power and position was his. But first he was faithful in the pasture. First he slept with the sheet first. He just showed up.
(06:37): We all want the palace, but are you willing to be faithful in the pastor first? All his life, God was calling David to be greater. It didn't happen overnight and there were many battles along the way, but all he had to do was keep showing up because God had already provided the victory. The same is true for you. God is taking you somewhere. But to get there, you're going to go through many battles. You're going to be taken through the fields, you're going to be taken through the pastures, the wilderness, up and down the mountains, you name it, you will go through a lot, but the victory is yours if you're going to keep being faithful and show up.
