Hey there. Welcome to find your fierce. And this is such a special episode. My heart is so full, so excited. I know we just finished up the flip the script series on here yet. That is continuing in our just free Facebook group sisterhood. So head on over there, if you've not done so yet we would love to have you today though. And why I'm so excited is because I have my Harper here with me. Harper just turned 13 in July and man, Oh man, her heart, her love for her creator.
(01:06): She has her, gosh, she has so much wisdom. And I know she teaches Rob and I so much that we are in complete awe of her and her heart every single day. And there's just something so special about her and Harper. Are you ready to do this? Yes. I'm so glad you're here because I, first of all, I cannot believe that you said yes when I asked you. Yeah. Either. I know. And, but I'm so glad that you did, because I think you have such confidence, confidence in who you are, your heart. I just can't say enough about your heart. And I remember when you were a little girl. Okay, well you still are. Okay. You're a young woman, but right now, but when you were little, I remember I have this video. I'm going to have to look it up. I'm going to have to show you that maybe you remember doing it.
(01:51): Do you remember doing sign language? Yes. In the song on musically, you were in this like this beautiful pink little outfit and you recorded that song was that I don't remember. We're going to have to look that up because you were doing sign language of a worship song and I'm like, Oh my gosh, this is so sweet. So I'm going to go look that up. And we'll have to definitely share this with each and every one of you, but that's who you were. That's who you are. And like you had like from such a young age, this call and this connection, I think with the Lord and we could see it, we could feel it, you know? And I know that you've watched me on this journey. You know, when I think about this, it's like, here you are, you're 13. And it's like, you get it already.
(02:45): And here I am 43. And I'm just now starting to grasp a hold of it. And I just, the things that you have going on in your life. Okay. And for you to know God and Jesus at your age. Oh my gosh. Watch out. Okay. So you want to share a story, heads up guys. This is, there is nothing scripted here. There is nothing scripted. She asked what we were going to talk about. And I'm like, it's all going to come to us. It's all going to be good. And you know, me, I like schedules, right? I like everything organized and perfect and scripted and all that good stuff. But we're breaking free from all of that. I definitely don't. I see a lot of me in you. So I don't want you to go through those things and do those things or feel that you need that as well.
(03:28): But share the story that just happened this week. I know your dad came home, told me that we had a God moment in the truck. Do you want to talk a little bit about that? Share. So we were running a delivery for a mum. Someone got a gift for someone and they got a little note for it. And my dad thought it would have flew out because we forgot to bring it into the truck. And I said, just pray about it. But he was thinking about the negative and I was like, just pray about it. Like, we'll be there. And then when we got there, he was unloading. He was like, yeah, it's gone. I looked down and there was, I was like, yeah, you got to think about the closet. They're not the naked part of it. Gosh, that's so good. And the thing is it hit home with your dad because he actually came home and told me about this God moment in the story.
(04:20): You know what I heard from that? I heard that we need to pray about everything no matter how big, no matter how small is, is it pray about everything? And we knew that that note was pretty special, you know, to have delivered with that flower. And you just said, pray about it. Like instantly, it just rolled off your tongue. I think it is like your dad long gone. I was like, no, just pray about it. It's not there. He's like, yep. It's gone. I looked down there. Oh, that's so good. And he might not have seen that. Right. Cause it was in between the door. He might not have seen that, you know? And he would've just thought it was gone and would have never even looked or never thought maybe, maybe even crossed his mind to pray. Oh, well, you know, he was fired up for him to come and tell me about that was his day at work.
(05:10): So there's again, see, there's so much wisdom and not just, just pray about everything. I love your confidence in that and not being afraid to share about those things because you're in seventh grade, right. Junior high is tough. Is it tough Sundays? Yeah. I can't imagine navigating through this world. I'm just so glad that we have each other to go through these times because junior high is tough. Thirteen's tough. And you're, you're taking it with stride. You feel that? Yeah. Yeah. I think about, you know, being back in junior high and what's cool and what's not, you've got the cool kids, they're doing their thing or kids think that there's certain things that are cool. I mean, what's cool in the school with you. You notice things that kids that I think that like, people think like vaping school, people thinks making bad decisions to the school to be cool because of their friends are doing it and stuff. But like for me, it's just be yourself. Like you don't need to be cool for someone else. Oh my gosh.
(06:15): It's so true. Be yourself. Yeah. That's kind of what we talk about here on find your fears. Just being you, who you're called to be with your purpose a hundred percent true. Authentic, you know, not, you know, comparing yourself with others. I'm sure there's a lot of comparison. I mean, that's easy to get sucked into. Have you ever felt that, like when have you ever compared yourself to others? What's it do? I mean, how does it make you feel when you compare yourself? It makes me feel down more. Yeah, man. And the thing of it is I think about this, those young girls. Okay. So moms that are here listening. Okay. Or I want you to think back to when you were a child, as children, we grow up into these adults. They don't just go away. Those feelings and thoughts. Don't just go away in less.
(07:01): We focus and we seek and have that relationship with the Lord, having that relationship with Jesus. So it can fill fellas up. You know, I asked you to go somewhere. Okay. So when we're recording this, you guys, we just got back from this event and it was an event here in our town. We were asked to go, I'll be honest. I had said no for four years, actually it was more than four times because there were multiple events within the last four years. And a friend had always invited me. And for four years, I'm like, no, I don't know if it's my thing. I'm not sure because I was trying to be in this box of what religion, what our faith is supposed to be like. Okay. So last night I asked Rob and I asked Hayden Harper and Hadley to attend this event. Okay.
(07:52): And it was a night of worship. It was a night of falling in love with our Lord falling in love with Jesus. I asked you to go guys, this is a Saturday night. And what were you? I mean like, can you tell them a little bit about when I asked you guys to go to this event? I did not want to go at all because like, I think I was like, not thinking like, I just didn't want to go like all the stories and stuff. Yeah. Well, the stories that I shared with you okay. Of people having God moments, having God encounters, having moments with the Holy spirit. I mean, it's kind of weird, right? I couldn't believe it myself. You know, when I first witnessed it, when I first felt it, when I first started embracing those God moments, it was life changing. And so I come home of course.
(08:43): And I tell all you guys about it, you guys were looking at me like, Hmm, I don't know if we want to go, like, what is this? Yeah. So you guys hop in the car and you're glad you went. Okay. So let's, let's go through that moment because here's the thing I warned. I warned, I warned my kids. Okay. And Rob guys, you know, the Holy spirit, if we allow it, I mean, it just kind of takes over, you know, when we have that relationship with Jesus, it just kind of, I mean, it's just so you can't even explain it. Okay. So you had that moment. You want to be a little bit real and transparent here or just share kind of like your testimony. Well, so we got caught up to go and like, I couldn't hold him like my tears anymore.
(09:34): Okay. Absolutely amazing that take over and I just lost control of everything. And like, I just started crying. Like it just came out. You had some massive words, you had some powerful words spoken over you like massive, powerful words. Do you remember? I haven't recorded, but what, what is it that you remember that was spoken? Because you know that your dad and I have always told you such amazing things of how special you are. They said that I'm really beautiful. I'm a leader. And it just, it felt like so good. And I just felt like I needed to be like so long ago it was like missing out all this stuff. Because like I S I seen my mom's, like, she started reading the Bible and it started like believing in like changing. I did not want to go. And like, when I went, I'm like, glad I went. God's good. And me,
(11:04): God. So good. Everyone tells you a God, so good.
(11:10): You can say, Oh, girlfriend, you've got me crying. Where's our tissues. I don't even think we have tissues in the house. We usually don't cry Dewey right now. And we're not crying out of sadness, crying out of happiness. Oh, so good girl. I'm so proud of you. I'm so proud of you. You know, they, they mentioned something about how you're going to go back. You know, they, they said that you were Deborah, you know, and that you're going to go back and you're going to lead. And that, I mean, is that scary to you? I mean, is that, I mean, what are your thoughts when they said that you were going to go back and lead with your friends, with, with, with people you don't even know yet? Well, normally I'm like the shy one, but after they said that, like, I felt so free that I felt I could do anything because they said that. Yeah.
(12:13): How cool is that? To think that every single one of us has access to that. It's true. It's cool. Yeah. Every single one of us, every single person that is listening to this right now, to know that we have access to this. If we just say yes, if we just say, yes, you use the word. Cool. We use the word. Cool. It's not weird. Is it? It doesn't matter what other people think of it it's do in you do what you do. Yeah. It's you and your relationship with the Lord between you and him. You know, I, you know, I'm going to give you a heads up. You're going to miss. Is your mama coming in? There's going to be people that don't like the, the you with the Jesus filled heart. I mean, they're going to think it's not cool. They're gonna think it's weird.
(13:05): I mean, it's not just, even in junior high, it's even in adults, in the adult world that they're not going to want it. Like, because it's, they just don't know what they don't know. How are you going to respond? I mean, how are you going to respond to the people who might not get it? I'm still going to like them, even if they don't believe or think that it's good or not love them anyway. Right. And then you don't hate them kind of still like 'em. Oh yeah. I tell you guys, she has so much wisdom. We're gonna love him anyway. That's who he is. We're going to love him anyway and know that people have access to this. Just like we do pray that they say yes and have their God moment. What can you share? I think this is pretty powerful. Okay. You're pretty powerful, girl. I think you're going to hit, you hit home to a lot of people today. I told you, we're just gonna let the Holy spirit lead. No script. Just be you, right? Yeah. Do you like them? Yeah, I feel more energetic. I feel more happy. Like today I woke up and I made my bed.
(14:26): When I woke up something that I've been telling you to do, like over 10 years later in the day, but I woke up and I just made it right there and it felt good. Yeah. Yeah. There's something about that. Like, you know, it's funny that you said that, like, you just feel energized. You feel happy. I can, I can go down. Like I could be in the grocery store and I can literally look at someone and I could, I could feel like if they have love in their heart, they smile more. They're like, there's just something about them that, you know, that you're drawn to them because they have so much love. And you can always, always, always link it back for their love for Jesus. Is there anything that you want to share? Like, we'll call it Harper's Harper's words of wisdom. How about that?
(15:12): Anything being downloaded right now that you want to share with the people listening, especially when they're on this journey, or maybe they're fearful of taking that leap of faith or fearful or questioning, or have doubt of that unknown, or maybe someone's thinking it's weird right now that they don't want to like dive in to get, you know, grabbing a relationship, grabbing a hold of her, the relationship with the Lord. Do you have anything that you want to share? Just be yourself. It doesn't matter what other people have to say about it. I love it. I think that's the best advice ever be yourself, be who God created you to be the impact that you can have on this world. I was a whole different person yesterday.
(15:56): Like couple weeks ago, I told my mom, I don't want to do a podcast, but I'm glad that we did it because I'm happy that I'm helping her out and stuff. Oh girl, you're not helping me out. I'm talking people out. Oh yeah. You're helping a boatload of people. It's in God's timing. Right? God's timing. I know. I asked you a couple of weeks to, you know, be on the podcast and just talk a little bit about confidence. Yeah. And now we didn't even talk about, I mean, I guess it is kind of like confidence, confidence in who you are yourself, confidence in the Lord. Confidence in your love for Jesus. Rest of the process. Oh, we're doing Mike drops now. Trust the process. God's plan. Oh girl, this is so good. We're definitely going to have to have you back. I hope you, I hope you join us again on that.
