“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.”
A lot of people credit this quote to genius physicist Albert Einstein.
Yes, he developed the Theory of Relativity.
No, he's not responsible for this quote.
If you do a simple google search you can see for yourself.
Had a guy apply to work with me the other day.
He already had a podcast and a business that was doing OK.
When I asked him how his podcast fed his business he said it didn't.
Out of 60+ episodes he could track 1-2 clients from it.
I understood what he was trying to do.
I had ideas on how we could make it work using our Direct Response Podcasting™ framework.
So I made him an offer to work with us.
He was good to go until he realized that I would require him to burn his existing podcast to the ground so he'd have a fresh start.
He didn't like that.
He wanted to keep his old show.
The one he'd been doing for over a year with almost no results.
If you ask me…
It's not working.
Why would you keep doing it?
That's why I'm leery of working with people who already have a show.
Sometimes they form a weird emotional attachment to it.
For the record.
A podcast show isn't your kid.
You won't get in trouble for abandoning it.
And, in many cases you'll be better off for leaving it behind.
If you've been working on a podcast for over a year and you don't have the results you want.
It's time to drive to the nearest bus station, open your car door, kick it to the curb, and drive away without looking back.
When you're ready for a fresh start.
You can apply to work with us https://thepodcastfactory.com/questionnaire
And we'll help you get it right.
