I told myself I wouldn't write you today.
But who am I kidding.
I have stuff to say.
And you need to hear it.
So Johnny's back.
And I want to give you a tip on what NOT to do when you've got something to sell.
Last week someone sent me an email telling me he heard me on a podcast interview and I was awesome.
This was a great start and instantly got my attention because he was talking about my favorite subject in the world. (((Me)))
>> So far, so good.
In his second paragraph he says he did some research on me and saw that I didn't have an online course.
>> Uh Oh, if this guy really did research he would know I have The Podcast Mogul Newsletter . No, it's not a “course” although each issue could be one.
Then he goes on to pitch his course building service.
>> This is where things went awry.
I'm not looking for help building an online course.
The last one I launched got over 900 members in a weekend and nearly made me quit my “online biz” because of all the headaches and tech glitches. It was a total shitshow.
I'm over that stuff.
And this is one of the dumbest things people do all the time.
They try to sell what I'm not buying.
Speaking of…
My man Ben Settle and I recorded an whole podcast on this.
If you're making this mistake – listening to this one show could be the most valuable 20 minutes you invest all year.
