Sometimes we feel a bit technologically challenged.
Or we don't understand the innovation that is happening in marketing now.
So we stick to our old ways and that’s exactly what hurts business in the long run.
At one point, I couldn’t keep up with the times.
I was being more reactive and less proactive about my sales strategies and how I handled customers on a grand scale.
I was losing weight, hair falling out, you name it, I experienced it. I was sad and frustrated all of the time!
And until I lost my first business, I didn’t understand the importance of training customers to buy and how to get repeat sales FOREVER.
That’s also when I built my Sales Success Model — it covers a couple of basic philosophies in the jewelry business and in growing business in general.

AUTHENTICITY SELLS

Interpersonal relationships are super important to me and my business.
And having this outgoing personality helps me build trust with my clients — even online.
In fact, I can guarantee that it’ll be harder to grow your business if you're relying on meeting people in person.
What you need is the commitment to sharing your vulnerability with your audience.
People should be able to feel you in every post and in every email.
Oftentimes jewelry is an emotional purchase…
And when you're connecting with your audience, they're connecting with more than your product, they’re connecting with YOU.
That might be your packaging, your logo, your design, the colors you use etc.
But the way you talk about your brand is going to be something that is really key in creating a connection.
And that’s only the beginning to gaining 1000 True Fans!
CONNECTION = CONVERSION
Once you’ve made the connection with your audience it’s time to begin converting prospects into customers.
The conversion phase is one thing that people really struggle to get!
Some people’s websites are outdated, images blurry, or the overall focus is lost somewhere in the messaging.
If things are messy and inconsistent, expect people to just BOUNCE.
Your connection might have gotten people on your website but the lack of maintenance made them disappear.
What are you actually doing to get people into your sales funnel?!
Automation also converts.
It’s your trust factor that gets people buying over and over again!
Take abandoned cart sequences, for example.
Maybe someone on your website is about to check out…
Sharing with them that there is this great pair of earrings that actually goes with what’s already in their cart exposes the trust they have in your brand.
When you can start to crossover that threshold, that's when you start getting the repeat customers and profit into your business.
WHEN ALL ELSE SEEMS TO FAIL
OK so sometimes, we just miss the mark on being able to connect and convert!
Plain and simple: you’re still not getting conversions…
People are bouncing from your website, you’re making connections but people are saying maybe next season or they’re not sure if what you’re selling is right for them.
Or you’ve gotten to a place where you were connecting with people, you converted them into sales, but they never bought from you again.
