I say it all the time and I'll say it again so you know I;m serious about this.
A podcast isn't a business. A podcast is an extension of a business that's already bringing in dough.
Now that we got that out of the way, I want to let you know that I've teamed up with one of my buddies to bring you an interesting live discussion this Thursday.
This dude is the leader of one of the best podcaster communities I have seen. He's got people from all walks of life who come together and share their best podcasting practices and resources with each other each week.
When he invited me to be a part of his community I asked him what I could contribute since it looks like he's got it under control.
And he said the one thing they really wanted to know was how to make dough with their shows.
It's the one thing I don't like to talk about because it confuses people and it makes them think they can start a podcast and turn it into a business.
Reluctantly I said yes, but only if we prefaced it with letting them know a podcast – all by itself is not a business.
He agreed and we decided to do a LIVE call in show, here are the details:
