Marquel: Hey, what’s up, my friend? Marquel Russell here. Welcome to this brand new episode of The School of Client Attraction podcast. Extremely excited to have you here.
In this video, I want to talk investing. I'm not talking about investing like investing in the stock market or investing in real estate, or trading or Bitcoin. Is Bitcoin even still around? I'm not sure. But I'm not talking about any of that type of stuff, so I want to kind of take this a different route.
If you think about Warren Buffet, I'm not sure where he is on the Forbes list right now, but I think he's holding on strong at number three, if I'm not mistaken. But he's definitely probably still in the top five. [01:00.0]
However, Warren Buffett is the owner of Berkshire Hathaway and the dude is massive in the investment game. Him and this guy named Ray Dalio, they both, Ray Dalio owns one of the biggest hedge funds in the world and Warren Buffett is just that dude, right? And these are the top investors, two of the top investors in the world, and on a yearly return, they average about 20% annual returns on the investment. Of course, they've been playing with big numbers, billions, but we're just talking about the percentage, so it's a 20% ROI annually, right?
What does that mean for you? As an entrepreneur, two investments that you can make, and I'm not going to say that you can make, I'm going to say two investments that we make all the time, our number one investment, if you look at our PNL, my profit and loss statement every month or every quarter or whatever, when we look it over what our CPA, then the biggest thing that we see is advertising. Number one is advertising. Number two is what we're investing into coaching and consulting.
So, let me quantify this for you. On average when we invest in ads, we average about a 400% ROI on our paid advertising. And that's at scale, right? That's pretty consistent. I mean, we’ve got clients who get 500,000, 600,000, 1,500% ROI. [02:13.8]
That's crazy. That's not typical, right? But, I mean, it's pretty [normal]. I wouldn't say it's not typical because it's pretty normal. But on us, as far as us, that was pretty on average we’d get a 400% ROI on ads, and this is every 30 days.
Now, of course, we're not, we're not investing billions in ads, but still if you can invest in a vehicle and you can get a 400% ROI consistently, how many times would you do that? You’ll do it as much as you possibly can. It's like putting in $1 and getting $4 back. $1, get $4 back. $1, get $4 back. $1, get $4 back. If you go to invest $1 and get $4 back, how many times would you do that? You’d do that as many times as you possibly can. So, that's number one.
And then, think about it. That's a 400% return every 30 days. How is that return over 12 months? Pretty crazy. And, as I was saying, that's on average. That can even be higher. So, that's number one. [03:04.6]
And the skill set itself creates an infinite return because now you can do it and you never have to throw that money again when you know how to turn advertising into profit. Number two is your personal growth. Hiring of coaches, hiring consultants, outside advisors, things of that nature, because that produces an infinite return. Coaching and consultant doesn't even cost you money, to be honest with you, if you're an executor.
So, if you don't have a coach or a consultant right now, I highly recommend getting one. Number one is a tax deduction. I'm not a financial advisor. Neither do I play one on TV. I'm just going to throw that disclaimer in there. But, number two, if you take action on what you're learning and you hire somebody who knows that stuff, you can't lose, because not only will you get an ROI immediately by implementing their process, but whatever skill set you take from that, you continue to implement that over your coming years. And what's the return on that? I’ve got stuff that we implement now that we’ve learned from coaches, mentors and consultants three, four or five years ago, but we still implement that and the return on that has been massive. We can’t even keep up with it at this point.
So, if you just focus on it all the time, whether that's every 30 days, every 90 days or whatever, and you create an investment plan, and it's cool to invest in stocks; it’s cool to invest in the real estate—I'm not saying that stuff is wrong—but make sure you create an a percentage of your revenue to invest into paid advertising, and coaching and consulting, because those two things are going to create an infinite return for you and it's going to help you with experiencing consistent, rapid growth.
