This has been the most interesting trip Cupcake and I have ever had.
Right after we got back from our snowboarding trip in February we started planning our next adventure.
We booked a month at the beach in one of my favorite spots, Ponce Inlet.
It was a nice little 2 bed 2 bath condo over looking the ocean.
After a few days there the A/C breaks down and we're reduced to opening doors and windows to cool down.
Luckily it's not quite summer yet, so it doesn't feel like we're burning up (yet)
When the owner finally gets someone out there to check out the A/C he tells her it needs to be replaced.
She's selling the place for $300k and decided she doesn't want to sink any more dough into it and asks us if we'd like a refund.
REFUND? Is she crazy? This is a disaster.
We've been looking forward to this trip for months. This IS our “summer mini-retirement” and she wants to cut it short after just one week.
What are we going to do?
No worries, Cupcake to the rescue.
Within a couple of hours she's got a new place lined up for us in Daytona Beach.
And it's in a really cool building.
When we finally see it we can't believe how much better it is than the last one.
We're now in a luxury building in a beautiful 2 bedroom condo that sells for $600k+
This is more our style anyways.
Now we're feeling more at home.
Maybe I'll share some shots of it in an upcoming “Daddy's Working” episode.
To give you and idea, it's so good that I'm even willing to overlook that it's in the area us locals like to call, “Dirty Daytona.”
Right by where all the tourist hang out during the races and for Bike Week and Spring Break.
The cool part is we got the place at a big discount because Cupcake figured a no brainer way to get luxury places at a fraction of what they normally charge if you do this one simple thing.
I'm sharing this cool “mini-retirement” hack inside the next issue of The Podcast Mogul newsletter http://PodcastMogul.com
Inside the next issue you'll find out how to use “BOTS” in your business to keep things moving (even while you're away), then you'll see how being lazy will get you breakthrough results, and then we'll finish up with some “4 Hour Workweek” tips on having the mini-retirements people only dream about.
Keep an eye out for tomorrow's note where I'll tell you what happened when the A/C broke in our latest unit and how we capitalized on it.
Ta Ta for now,
