I tell people all the time, if you want to have a successful podcast you need to have two very important things:
1. An email list
2. A product to sell
The size of the email list isn’t as important as how often you’re in touch with them. They just need to know who you are and want to hear from you.
A lot of times people get bogged down in creating a product. They want it to be perfect. And it causes them to never release it to the public.
The problem with that is you can’t make any dough if you never finish your product.
And if you’re busy trying to make it perfect you’ll never finish it and you’ll never get any feedback so you can make it better and sell it even more of it.
