Build unbreakable courage and completely transform how you show up every single day. (00:34): Hey there, gang. Welcome to find your fierce so glad that you are here with me and still kicking off 2022. We are continuing the will warrior series this week, and it's just because it's a fresh start and we have a clean slate. And I know these last few weeks we have talked about so many amazing things. It's just purifier. I know we talked about stepping into confidence and then walking that out, that you are designed with a purpose. We talked about your God-given potential and your identity that life is full of hope of opportunity and full of choices. And with this series, we are diving into the fact that we can do and face hard things. We can learn to fight and battle in a brand new way that we not only can reach our potential, but we can go beyond it. And we're gonna talk a little bit about today, how we can stop settling.
(01:19): I, I can't wait. It's gonna be super good, but before we go any further today, I have to say that I love that you are here listening in and spending time with us. So honored that I get to be just a small part of your day. You just are so amazing and I have to thank you for your love and support as always. I appreciate your feedback, your reviews, and love that you share this podcast and this set free message with your friends and family. So if you could keep on doing that, it would be so amazing because you are helping this movement as it helps reach more women and it impacts more lives. And that is certainly what life is all about. So thanks again so much. And for those of you who are wanting a little bit more, a little bit more personal one-on-one attention and coaching, more accountability, more breakthrough and connection, and to dive into things on a deeper level, all the stuff that we talk about here on fine, your fears plus so much more, the just breathe.
(02:07): Sisterhood is opening up another small group mentorship here in just a few weeks. It is actually starting February 8th. It is truly game changing. So be sure to check that out on my website, Jill Allen, coaching.com, and you can get started with us there. Okay? So I'm gonna be diving into with a pretty powerful statement, right? From the get go. Our faith and prayer is the catalyst that kickstart God to unleash his power in your life. And I bet some of you are like, well, when is that gonna happen? Where I don't see it, but sometimes his power is at work behind. So right now we don't get to see a whole lot of unleashing. You just see a whole lot of the same old mess that maybe you're living in right now. The good old waiting period, the quiet that's okay, guys, God is still working.
(02:59): Your faith is a seed. And we have to know that we know that we know that we know that God is going to produce this abundant harvest in the next season. But first we're in this season, a season of plowing where things are dug up and turned over a season where there's a whole lot of work and not a whole lot to show for it. And that's okay. Your season will be changing soon. For those of you who don't know we have owned my husband and I, we have owned a greenhouse. We've been running a greenhouse for the past 22 years and we run it in seasons. And right now it's the off season. But in about a week, all the seeds, all the little plugs, all the little flowers they're gonna be showing up to plant, and our team will be get back to this empty greenhouse, starting to fill thousands upon thousands of pots, hanging baskets, planters with dirt.
(03:54): I should say soil. I should say soil. Doesn't make me seem like I'm a greenhouse gal. If I'm saying dirt. So all this stuff with soil, all behind the scene stuff before the harvest season, before the go time. And let me tell you, it's a whole lot of work, but there's nothing to show for it during the season. The off season is usually, you know, it, it feels longer than any other season out there. The dark days feel longer than any sunny day color is missing. It's just dirt. It's just soil. It's just dark the cold and not to mention the high gas and electric bills, trying to heat up those big, old empty greenhouses, right? But that's okay. The season will be changing soon and our faith cannot be threatened by any delay or by the slowness or from the quiet we have to hold on to the hope that a new season is coming.
(04:47): That God is about to do something growth is coming. Harvest is coming. And when it does is gonna blow our mind. And I wonder if there's anyone listening today who has been hoping for something that even hoping for a really, really long time, a really, really long time, and let's face it. The expected timeline for your hopes has already come and gone, that your current circumstances tell you it's not gonna happen. I just asked a friend the other day, but what do we do in the waiting period this long time where nothing's had, it's not a period that I particularly like, what have you been hoping for? Something better? Something bigger, something new, something, more, something different, something to change. There was a time when your hopes were high. I totally get it. I've been there, but have you ever woke up believing it could happen?
(05:40): And now it almost seems ridiculously to keep hoping guys, there's a message for all of that. God is able to and go abundantly above all that you ask and think through his power that is going to work in you. I'm here to encourage you today. Hang on to that hope in Ephesians three 20, it says now unto him, that is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us, that thing you've been hoping for, that thing you used to always pray about. But now so much time is, has gone by with no change, no improvement, no growth that it seems crazy to keep praying about. Do not quit. God is going to top it. He will go above and beyond. It's gonna be better than you can even imagine more than you can imagine more than we can even think of right now.
(06:33): You should be fired up. I am. How is he gonna do it it right? You're probably asking how is he gonna do it? What was gonna be, he's gonna do it through his power that is going to work in you. It's going to happen in you, but it's going to be because of his power. Remember on goal night and just breathe. I don't know if you guys were there that night. If not, there's a replay in the just breathe. But we had a goal night first ever. I mentioned it's his year, not yours. He will be doing the moving in and through you. It might seem impossible for you, but it's not impossible for God. So my question is always, when, when is he gonna do it? When is he gonna show up? When the season is right guys on his time, not ours. I know that's hard to like grab a hold of and grasp.
(07:23): It's challenging for us, but it's all gonna come together and show up in just the right time. When the seasons have changed, then, then you're gonna be able to see what God has been doing in this darkness. And then it will sprout up and grow in the light. But right now, concealed in the deep dark, because it's not ready yet. Just like those seeds that will be planted next week in the greenhouse, all we will see is the dirt and the containers, but God is still working. Will you trust that today? You may not see evidence of his work in this specific situation in your life, but that doesn't limit God's power to work behind the scenes, the deep and the unknown within man. I just wish I can get a little, you know, sneak peek of the backstage, be a fly on the wall to see how it's all coming together.
(08:10): I know I just turned 20 or 25. I just turned 45. Oh my gosh. Hilarious. And I'm still trying to figure it out. Most of the time, I, I really don't even have a clue what I'm doing. It's a trial and error kind of way of living. I mean, I try new things. I find the courage to take on new adventures. Some work, some do not. Sometimes days feel like I'm taking two steps forward one step back. Sometimes I even like to run in circles but God knows exactly what he's doing. He can see in the dark and he can, he can work in the dark and he honors our efforts to just keep trying. He wants me to show up just as much as he is saying, he's gonna show up and I look back and I see God and how he's totally blessed.
(08:51): You know, a, a few efforts that just didn't really make a whole lot of sense to me, but he chose to work through it. Anyway, we don't always have to know the exact next step. We just have to be willing to take a step in faith and God will do the rest. And I admit, I keep God pretty busy because I'm always willing to keep stepping, even in the dark and God is so faithful to continually say, okay, that wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but I can work with it. But what do you do in the waiting in the middle? When all is quiet? I know I'm not the only one that needs to work a little bit more with some patience here, right? I sometimes feel like in the middle of the struggle, in the midst of the darkness, something within me is threatened that I may hold back.
(09:31): I, I wanna quit. Sometimes I create excuses and I just five, I may even wanna, you know, change course because it's not on my terms or I try to chase other things to kind of fill in the gap. Reality sets in. And what I'm seeing is not what I envisioned. And when reality is hard, we naturally begin to protect ourselves. Do you know how so many self-protect we settle because of the dual lay we settle because it was harder than we ever imagined. We slowly just start to settle. Have you ever started to lower your standards, your expectations, have you ever ditched your hopes and leveled down due to your current circumstances? Have you convinced yourself that you're gonna be okay if things don't change that you'll be okay. If that dream planted down deep and your soul never happens, that you'll just live with it.
(10:20): I mean, we can pretty it up all we want. I mean, we can even put a bow on it, but the truth is that that's called settling. And I know that because I'm guilty because I've done it in my life. There have been times I've let the fire die because every time I tried to breathe life on it or asked God to breathe life on it and I try to move forward. It seems like loud and clear that it's not happening. It, it became easier to let the flame go out and give up on that hope than to keep trying to fan the flame. So what causes us is to settle our current circumstances, who here has less than favorable circumstances right now that you have something working against you, that you have this mountain standing in your way. Maybe you have a clock that is ticking and the times seems to have already run out.
(11:10): You have a long hallway. Doors are just getting slammed one right after another, you feel like you've tried everything and nothing has wore that. You've just run out. I don't know what you're out of this. You know, today out of time out money out of resources, out of support, out of ideas, out of energy, I'm here to tell you those are all just circumstances. And a little reminder is that our God isn't limited by circumstances. He's the God that tells the 90 year old Abraham that he will bless him and Sarah with a baby. So we need to stop settling. He's saying, I get it. Circumstances say that that baby isn't gonna happen, but I'm not limited by your circumstances. And did he do it? Yep. He's the God who tells Moses to speak to thousands and lead his people to freedom. But Moses could hardly speak because of a stutter guys.
(12:00): It's just circumstances. These real life circumstances almost cause Moses to dismiss himself from the calling on his life. But God proves he's not limited by circumstances. And Moses really doesn't have much to say when he uses his stick to part the red sea. I mean, people follow that kind of testimony. He's the God who tells the man who's been crippled for 38 years to get up and walk while he's still laying crippled on his mat. I mean, God, wasn't limited by how long he'd been laying there. I wonder if that man woke up thinking that day was just another day of being stuck in his circumstances ever expecting it was the day that changed everything. Ladies, we have to stop dwelling on our situations. God is over them. All that you may not see away. And there may not currently be a way, but God is going to make a way that circumstances may be credit right now that your situation may seem hopeless.
(12:51): But my God, your God, I mean, can do exceedingly abundantly above everything we ask or even think don't settle. Stop, convincing yourself that you're okay. If things don't change, stop living below your potential. Stop selling out for easy. Today, we rise up and we believe in something that's not normal. Something that the world says is too hard. Something the clock says is too late for something you've started to believe may not happen for you. It's time to rise up. Circumstances and situations are nothing to God. So I want you to stop looking at all that's wrong and keep your eye on God today. His power is at work within you. Now I want you to let him work. Our faith is like this open door for God to do crazy epic things. His power gets unleashed in our life. It is that seed for the harvest that will be produced in your next season.
(13:45): Now is not the time to give up and remember how he's going to do it. His power that is at work within us. Here are some questions to reflect on this week. I hope you are fired up. I know I am. What have you been hoping for? That is not happening? Like you had thought, will you surrender it to God's timing, not yours? What current circumstances are you using to help you justify not moving forward to give up hope? What circumstances need called out and flipped? Where in life are you settling?
