Straight out of High School I decided to become an electrician.
I read the help wanted ads and started applying for jobs all over Orlando.
Eventually I landed a job with a company that had an apprenticeship program.
They teamed up “green” helpers like me with journeyman electricians to show them the ropes.
Skilled trades have been passed on from generation to generation since the beginning of time this very way.
An experienced mentor shows his apprentice what to do and more importantly, what not to do to get the end result they are looking for.
This is one of the reasons I really liked when Podcast Mogul reader Malcolm Pett said,
“It's easier to find someone else doing something and learn from them. It's the quickest way to learn.”
He's right too, if you want to learn the business side of podcasting and not just the technical stuff – the Podcast Mogul is my way of taking you under my wing and showing you the ropes.
I'll show you what to do.
I'll save you from the pitfalls.
And I'll keep you moving in the right direction to get the results you're looking for.
Anyways, you can hear Malcolm's story in his own words at https://thepodcastfactory.com/pm-testimonial-malcolm-pett/
And remember, the next issue of The Podcast Mogul Newsletter goes to the printer soon.
If you want a shortcut to building your authority in your market, the next one is for you.
Why? Because I'm breaking down Cialdini's 6 principles of persuasion and showing you show to use them in podcasting.
