I remember when I started my first podcast in 2009,
I thought I'd be the next Howard Stern. Fame and riches would come pouring in and I would never have to work again.
Boy was I wrong.
All I did was create a thankless job for myself where the pay was terrible. I made almost no dough over the 18 months and 77 episodes of my first show.
Funny enough, 7 years later I still see people getting into podcasting for all the wrong reasons. They think by popping their show into iTunes listeners will find them and start whipping out their credit cards.
That ain't the way it works.
See, podcasting is great for growing your audience. But only if you have a plan to get your show up the charts where new listeners can find you and give you a shot.
The problem is most people jump in with no real plan to launch their show. Then they wonder why their download numbers are low, why they have no listeners, and why they bothered to get into podcasting in the first place.
But you don't have to worry about that my friend.
Why?
Because inside the next Podcast Mogul newsletter you're getting a launch strategy you can use to have people eagerly awaiting your new show. And when it comes out they'll be giving you ratings and reviews and helping you move up the charts so you can reach new listeners.
