After I lost everything in 2008 I got gun shy about Real Estate.
It was a low point of my life.
I told myself I didn’t deserve anything.
I felt like a total P.O.S.
And I honestly thought I was better off getting a job and some “security.”
The only thing that kept me together was Cupcake.
The way she looked at me.
She still believed I was a winner.
And there was no way I would let her down (again.)
It took some time,
But slowly I rebuilt our Real Estate business.
Got our rentals squared away.
And figured some things out.
I hadn’t realized how much it hurt until now.
Looking at how hot the market is, and all the people making big dineros.
I felt like a loser (again.)
Why? Because I opted to sit this entire cycle out.
But that’s changed.
Cupcake and I are ready to get in the game and take down some deals.
The first thing we did was find a group of people that had the right mindset.
Winners who are doing deals and owning their markets.
And we joined them.
It was a BIG investment.
But we’ve always found that investing in our environment pays dividends.
Wondering what this has to do with podcasting?
Nothing at all.
Except that I built The Podcast Factory Agency as a hedge against another real estate collapse.
