Hi, I'm Billy Gwaltney and this is the CYA podcast. This show is for the physician who understands the importance of protecting everything you've worked so hard to achieve. Welcome to episode number 12. The title of today's program is explaining the PPG concierge experience, and I love this topic. I'm excited about today's program and want to share with you as a physician, as you consider coverage and who you want to work with. This material will be important to factor in. And I love talking about this because it gets to the heartbeat of how we do what we do and the why behind it.

(00:55): What is the PPG concierge experience? PPG stands for my company and professional planning group as a disability specialist. We work with clients all over the country. And the bottom line is the concierge experience is how I and my firm care for our clients across the country and actually all over the world. Cause you folks move everywhere, which I love. Concierge is an important word because it's how I see serving our clients. It reflects top shelf care for the most important insurance you'll ever own, which is your specialty, own occupation, disability coverage and your life insurance. We use the word experience because I want you to have an experience this pleasing and this memorable at least from the standpoint of its ease and effectiveness, getting it done quickly and allowing you to move on down the road and and feel good about the coverage that you've put into place when it comes to this experience in, in the concierge experience process.

(01:52): There are four stages to that or, or points that I want to go over briefly today and we can certainly discuss it in more detail if and when you'd ever like to. The first step is what we call the certainty promise. And that's where you have my commitment to understand. The best coverage for your situation. Together we walk through and identify the most efficient disability coverage for your situation based on your specialty, your age, gender, training, status, location, and what your goals are, what you're trying to do. We also do this at the absolute lowest cost. If there's a discount, we know about it or we find it and so you will pay the same rate. I would pay for the same coverage that's available. So I take the definitions very seriously and the cost very seriously and will include the, the true specialty, own occupation definitions, the vital writers, the residual benefit, the long term recovery benefit the future insurability option.

(02:52): We also go through to the extent you're interested, the supplemental riders like the cost of living adjustment, the student loan repayment riders, those kinds of things that are applicable for some situations. The promise, the that's also included in this is that there are no additional fees for working with me and there are no additional topics unless you want to discuss them. We are focused like a laser on getting you the coverage that you're interested in getting. And secure in that in the most efficient way possible. The second phase is what we call a specialist connection. And that's where you get me together. We map out a plan for your situation, you communicate directly with me. I'm a disability insurance expert. I'm a specialist, is what I do all day, every day. I don't claim to be the smartest person in the room. I do know this because it's what I do and we've had clients on claim.

(03:46): It does exactly what it's designed to do. And so hopefully as you interact with me or our team, you'll see that, that we are good at what we do. And we do know this insurance marketplace really well. So you get me directly, you don't just get this podcast you don't just get whatever way you want to communicate. That's how we communicate. But it's, but it's really me. And again, we'll solidify the most important definitions for you and confirm the next steps. And I have a team behind me. It's not just me. They are also very good at what they do and they're excellent at providing proactive care. And so you'll get that proactive care all through the process. And that leads to the third step in the PPG concierge experience, which is what we call the easy purchase, which is where you're, you're guided through the streamlined process for obtaining coverage.

(04:40): When you're ready to secure it, our team walks you through the HIPAA compliant underwriting process, electronic, it's quick. It literally would take less than 30 minutes. All in that includes the application, the information to the underwriting questions and you have access to me and my team throughout that process. We're proactively following up with you as well. But anytime you have questions or want to chat about particular aspects of coverage and the process, we're able to do that. Our focus in this area is to make this process easy wherever you are in the world or the or next door or whether you're on another continent. We want to make sure that anything you need has gotten to you as efficiently as possible. And that leads to our last phase of the PPG concierge experiences, which is what we call a lifetime advantage. Where your wants are matched with our strengths.

(05:35): Once coverage is secured, we are passionate and and love providing this concierge service to our clients throughout their entire career. You, like I mentioned, we'll have direct personal access to me and our team for anything you need from a changing address to adding coverage to filing a claim and help with that process. Whereas involved as our clients want us to be. You can always deal directly with insurance carriers. Obviously that's your prerogative, but the vast, vast, vast majority of our clients come to us for everything and we take pride in that. We love doing that. So wherever you live in the world, we are committed to exceeding your expectations and exceeding your family's expectations. When again, in situations where claims need to be filed and benefits need to be paid, we're often dealing with a spouse or a family member or a loved one key person in your life and we want to care for them in an excellent way.

(06:32): We want to ease the anxiety and at times when things are very unsettled and afraid, we can provide a little bit of good news. And that is that the financial part is as it should be. And so we take that seriously. Now obviously the amount of coverage you get is up to you, but as far as it doing what you're expecting it to do from a definition standpoint and a quality standpoint, that's what we take very seriously.
