Raising Funds for Nonprofits
Fundraising for nonprofits takes time and patience. It requires a great copy, a good list of potential donors, and other relevant things.
Some say it takes 18 months before you receive the funds. It could be challenging at the start. You just need to be consistent, persistent, and dedicated enough to succeed.
Experiences in the Industry
Chip used to cage mails for Environmental Educators. It’s where he first got interested in direct marketing and fundraising. He enjoyed creating, analyzing, and validating results.
Eventually, he worked for Viguerie’s company where he spent 10 years. Chip later moved to Washington Animal Rescue League as Director of Development.
10 Years and Counting
At present, Chip works as COO of Production Management Group. He continues to use his past experiences as he advances in the industry.
He has been working at PMG for 10 years. He works with 40 different clients, and loves his job. There is a feeling of accomplishment when people see their money at work.
