Question: What was the number one film of 1986?
Answer: Top Gun.
And the famous line from that film was ‘never leave your wingman behind’.
In today’s episode, Jim talk about his 30 year highschool reunion he attended to meet up with the four horsemen of his highschool years. These were Jim’s four best friends and it was a great opportunity to reconnect and catch up.
After such a long time disconnected from each other, it was an emotional experience for Jim and his friends to be reunited and the stories they had to share.
But the moral of the story is to never give up or quit on someone close to you.
Your wingman is the person who will stick with you through thick and thin, be there for you and help you when you need it most.
Reconnecting with Jim’s high school friends 30 years on was just like old times. In fact Jim believes he was more connected now than ever before.
It’s an eye opening and emotional journey – one you don’t want to miss. Maybe it will spark something inside you to reconnect with friends you’ve not seen for years. Or realising who your wingmen are – and to never leave them behind.
Today’s Question: Is there someone in your life that you’ve given up on because you thought it was over?
Today’s Challenge: Reach out and connect with them. Never leave your wingman.
