In today's episode, I'm going to share with you how we've been able to double our business every year for the past five years, every single year. I mean, that's really unheard of in business, the only business that tends to double every single year consecutively. Not that there aren’t some businesses that do it, but the ones that typically do are typically the ones that get outside funding and things of that nature. But here's how we've been able to do it, just a couple things.
One thing that we started doing at the end of every year is we do this thing called the “Best Year Ever Blueprint”, right? I even do it with my kids. I basically jot it out, and I started doing this five years ago. I jot out what my 50 wins are from the year before. Jot those down. What are my top lessons learned? What are my top three to five goals for the upcoming year? And then, what's more skill that I'm focused on mastering, right? I’ve been doing that every single year for the past five years. The first year we did that, a total game-changer. Every year, it has just continued to snowball.
On top of that, we’ve focused on just doing the same thing. I saw a video from 2018 or earlier yesterday actually, because I'm about to launch this campaign, for this specific campaign I'm about to do and I was like, I was saying the same exact thing then. [02:04.2]
We've literally stayed focused and just been doing the same thing consistently over these past five years. Whatever you want five years from now, you’ve got to start working on it now. It has just continued to double over and over and over again.
We've also asked the question, how can we serve more clients at a higher level while working less? And when you ask the right questions, you tend to get the right answers.
Those are a few, three things that are very, very practical that you can start doing immediately and that's how we've been able to double every single year for the past five years. Hopefully, you will go, implement that.
